Pancake Day!
Normally on Pancake Tuesday we all get to join together in cooking, decorating and eating pancakes at the weekly BB anchor boys meeting at Second Comber
We are extremely disappointed that we can’t do this altogether this year, but we have attached a short 2 minute video to highlight the meaning of pancake Tuesday, and would hope you get the chance to make some great pancakes at home using one of the recipes below.

Anchor Boys @ Home
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, we are currently unable to meet with our Anchor Boys in the church hall. Until we can come together to more fun in the halls, we have organised our Anchor Boys @ Home Programme. If you have not collected an activity pack yet, please contact us by email (2Comber@boys-briagde.org.uk) and we will make arrangements to get you one.
We will post videos here fortnightly that will link in with the activities in your in pack. We will also post some additional challenges and activities that our Anchor Boys can try at home.
We have just launched the Six in Six Challenge Programme for all boys which is being organised by BBNI. This is a series of six challenges over the next six months for boys to complete at home. Click on the graphic to see more information.
We would love to see how the boys are getting on, so please send us some photographs of the boys enjoying the activities. We hope to put these together into a video shortly.

Christmas Gift !
This Tuesday night 15th December between 6.00 and 6.30 there will be the opportunity for all the anchor boys to collect a gift for Christmas.
In addition, we are hosting an additional Food Bank collection this Tuesday evening at the same time in the church car park. This is an opportunity for all our boys to think of others and help support local families. It will also count towards their community award badge for this year.
The Food Bank have asked for donations of Christmas items such as:
Large Tinned Ham
After Eights/ Matchmakers
Box Of Chocolates
Box Of Biscuits
Cranberry Sauce
Mince Pies
Christmas Pudding
Large Bag Of Crisps
Selection Boxes
Tinned fruit
Large Chocolate Bar
New toys
